(More customer reviews)This Sugar Free "Dark Chocolate Macadamia Bark" is by far the best tasting diabetic friendly candy I have ever tried! I was excited when this said no Maltitol since that causes me "gastric distress". That being said, it does contain the sweetener oligofructose which can cause extreme flatulence in some people (sadly me included - it is almost cartoon funny), so it looks like my quest for the perfect sugar free chocolate candy continues.
Pros:
+ Really Good Tasting; just about indistinguishable from regular candy - my kids even like it
+ Macadamia Nuts; has a lot of nuts and they taste great!
+ Low Carb; only 2.5 Net carbs for a reasonable size piece
Cons:
- Contains Oligofructose; which causes the similar gastric issues as Maltitol in some people
- Pricey; somewhat expensive
It should be noted that my kids tolerate both Maltitol and Oligofructose without the gastric reactions, so this MIGHT be OK for you.
I still put this in the "Recommended" category since it so very good tasting and doesn't effect everyone the way it effects me.

They are absolutely delicious, sugar-free, and you can mix them as you wish for a VERY refreshing beverage!!! I got so bored with rum and diet cola, this is SUCH a nice alternative! The mixers are festive and it's GREAT to not be getting all that sugar! (My 10 year old likes to drink them as an alternative to soft drinks! He doesn't know that they're mixers. It is bulk packed and in a concentrate - not in spoonful strength equal to sugar and therefore does not have the fillers that make others, including Equal Spoonful foam.
I use a lot of iced tea which I make in large quantity, two or so gallons at a time, and other than opening numerous packets or sweeten each glass as I use it, this is the best way to sweeten the tea I have found.

I have never had better quality chocolate (okay I have had some amazing Swiss chocolate). All their products are excellent, we really love the black sesame crunch, especially my Arabic husband, who may be a little bit of a sesame seed snob. Did I mention this is GLUTEN FREE!!! (More customer reviews)Main Cottage sugar free "Chocolate Almond Bark" is a very good tasting diabetic friendly treat. I love chocolate, but have a hard time finding low-carb versions that taste good or don't cause me significant "gastric distress". This "Bark" is much better tasting than most and, since it does not contain Maltitol, has little gastric impact on most people.
Although it is indeed low NET carbs (only 1g), it can not be considered a diet snack at 170 Calories per 1.3oz serving (which is a good sized chunk). Most of the Calories come from fat, which likely accounts for the good flavor of this candy.
As the seller notes, this will likely melt somewhat in transit during the summer months and that did indeed happen to my shipment despite the reusable cold pack (which I kept) that was packed in the box. This was easy enough to fix by laying the unopened bag flat in my freezer for a half hour or so.
Highly Recommended!

I much prefer it to the 70%, which now tastes a little too sweet to my palate.
