And this wonderfull stuff comes in its own handy bag! Fresh and inspirational. If you are, like me, a choco-mint-o-holic, I believe you will just LOVE this product.

(More customer reviews)These sweetened carob chips are simply sensational. You wouldn't even be able to tell that they weren't chocolate. We use them in all sorts of cookies and candy making too. Contrary to popular belief, carob can be melted just like chocolate. The trick is to use a double boiler and do it as slowly as possible. If your mixture gets too grainier lumpy, you're doing it too quickly. Slow down!
You might also try cooler water. Not cool water, just cooler than you're already using (and getting the lumpy mixture). This might mean, you need to use warm water instead of hot water. Or, it might mean you need to use hot water instead of boiling hot water. After all, if they can turn carob into chips, you can turn carob chips into something else, right?

(More customer reviews)I LOVE these chips - they are SIMPLY the BEST! Better even than HERSHEY KISSES because you don't have to unwrap them, and they taste infinitely better than the semisweet ones. Here's what you REALLY want to know:
In the past, I used to order these from AMAZON and there were always 12 bags in a box. Now, for some reason, they have decided to split each full box from HERSHEYS in half and sell them in a repacked bunch of 6 bags, rather than 12. So although the description says, or at least used to say, 12 bags or 138 ounces, and some of the earlier reviews say they got 12 bags, I ordered in January of 2011 and discovered sadly that although at the time the description said 12 bags and the title said 6 bags, you really do now only get 6 bags per order or a total of 69 ounces, NOT 138 ounces. Unless they change it again - who knows - i hope they do. I'd rather get 48 bags per order - 12 barely gets me through lunch:). Thanks anyway AMAZON for all the great work you do and for your stellar, as always, customer service.

Since peeps are loaded with sugar i have never been able to eat them unless i cheat on my diet, so when they finally produced sugar free peeps i was in heaven. they taste just like the regular peeps but do not spike my blood sugar level. they are sooooo delicious!
