(More customer reviews)Under-rated candy bar possibly given bad rap by its use as, ahem, certain object "...in puncbowl." or in swimming pool in certain smarmy polyester, Valley Girl mindset ilk movies of the 80s. But taken by taste alone even Snickers or Butterfingers falls behind. At least worth trying if you enjoy peanuts, caramel and nugat in one bite.

I even had leftovers for the rest of the week for my family to eat. I used the rebate and got $15 off my candy purchase which was even a better deal! There is nothing`to complain about! From start to the inevitable finish, Chunky is deeply satisfying. It is very close to being the perfect candy bar. It's not Valhrona, nor is it 70% cacao, but it never wrongly aspires to these heights unlike the awful Lindt bar, which should always be avoided. Stick with Chunky--it'll do you no wrong.

(More customer reviews)The Kit Kats arrived in good shape, the appear to be made in England but the packaging is written in Arabic. I guess they're made for the Middle Eastern market but that wasn't clear before ordering so I was a little disappointed. Otherwise, they taste great and are 1000% better than US-made bars, the chocolate is sooooooo much better.

(More customer reviews)This is fabulous and it's what we drank when traveling in Cancun every morning. I just found it in our grocery and was thrilled to have it. I put the tablet in the blender and pulverize it (do one at a time, otherwise they melt). Then, you can pour the hot milk into the blender, or else I put it in a separate container and stir it into hot milk I've heated in the microwave. Each tablet makes about four cups. I'll add 1-2 heaping tablespoons. Yum!

INGREDIENTS 3.3 oz tablet of Mexican chocolate 2-1/2 cups milk 1 tsp sugar 1/2 tsp cinnamon INSTRUCTIONS To make Mexican hot chocolate, break tablet of Mexican chocolate into pieces and bring it to a simmer with milk. Stir the mixture until the chocolate is melted and well-combined. Mexican chocolate is traditionally beaten to a froth with a wooden implement called "molinillo". You can imitiate the effect by putting a small amount of your chocolate at a time in a blender and briefly pulsing it.

Nestle Crunch Crisp Single, Candy Bars (Pack of 48) Review

(More customer reviews)So I picked up a Nestle Crunch Crisp bar at the grocery store to try out, and it's okay. It's startlingly similar to a KitKat, only this Nestle Crunch Crisp doesn't use real milk chocolate for the coating (it's what we like to call mockolate) and the filling in this Crisp bar is more of a dark chocolate flavored filling I think, without really being dark chocolate.
I didn't like this Crunch Crisp bar. It does get stars for when you bite into it, it's got that wafer light crispness down pat, it promises to be awesome. The next sensation I get is sweetness (this is a good thing), but that quickly disappears and then it goes into this *powdery* chocolate taste. Don't ask me how chocolate *tastes* powdery, but this Crunch Crisp bar manages to have its chocolate *taste* powdery in addition to the powdery texture it dissolves into. I ate half the bar to be sure that I didn't like it (first impressions and all that), and then threw away the last half. It wasn't that good for me to be using up my valuable fat & calorie intake quotas with powdery chocolate taste.
In short, it tries to be a KitKat, but Nestle already has a KitKat in multiple varieties. Crunch Crisp doesn't have the same quality of chocolate, and I think that's where it falls short. I'd likely buy Crunch Crisp again if they changed their mockolate to real milk chocolate, but then it wouldn't be a Crunch Crisp bar, it'd be a KitKat.
