Reber Piano Bar Review

Reber Piano Bar

The combination of pistachio marzipan, hazelnut nougat and chocolate, with a hint of brandy is devine. It's refined and delicate. This is something you want to really savor; it's not a Milkyway bar. But before you buy, check other online prices. I've found it for less at a market in town.

Reber Mozart Twists Review

Reber Mozart Twists
Average Reviews:

(More customer reviews)
I consider myself very lucky to be able to order Reber Twists from the Niche Import Co. (also known as "Mostly Chocolate") when my 6 bags of Reber Schokis bought in Germany last Christmas quickly ran out. They are of course the same product - but the title Schokis was obviously not helping sales in America.
The Reber Company's reputation is based on their large chocolate covered marzipan balls - wrapped in shiny gold foil. Coated with two types of chocolate and with pistachio marzipan centers, with the famous portrait of Mozart on each one, they have to be the best marzipan on the market. But are these very large balls so great to eat - for modern calorie counters? Anyone who's cut them in half knows they shatter into odd shaped pieces of chocolate and marzipan - causing sticky fingers etc. Yet each large ball demands to be eaten at one sitting.
Despite the beautiful packaging of Mozart balls I resorted to buying marzipan in simple bar form - until my eyes were caught by these little red bags - each one containing 21 minature barrel-shaped Mozarts made to a slightly different recipe. I.e. the pistachio marzipan filling is now only covered in milk chocolate. No great loss because the bonus is each one has only 33 calories. No more problems unwrapping foil. As the name implies one simple Twist is all that's required - for a quick marzipan fix.
On the subject of marzipan why is it all the year round in every German food store the "sweet department" is dominated by marzipan products (a virtual of sea of red)? Although I was born in England and weaned on Mars bars etc. once one goes overseas the primitive content of English chocolate bars is exposed for what it really is. A source of instant gratification to drive away the blues - as yet another rainstorm passes overhead.
One next moves on to Swiss chocolate. But soon tires of the those far-too milky slim bars - whatever the filling. Then one discovers German marzipan! The search is over! Why does Germany know best as to what satisfies - with cars, cream cakes etc? And how to attain the perfect combination of chocolate and marzipan? They just do.
As America know about their cars I'm hoping one day to find a local bakery which makes cakes with REAL cream And that import emporiums will begin to realize marzipan tastes great all the year round - not only in the Christmas season. Until then there is the Niche Import Co.

I have always LOVE these chocolates, they are my favorites by far ... they are are delicious and they worth the money so to be able to find them in the US is great. The only I have to say is that I think that shipping cost (too high) is not what I expected.

Reber Mozart Kugeln Violin Gift Box Review

Reber Mozart Kugeln Violin Gift Box
Average Reviews:

(More customer reviews)
I am the author of a paper on Mozart called "A Resolution of Mozart and Freemasonry: Enlightenment and the Persistence of Counter-Reformation." Apparently, it has gathered some interest on the internet for its more concentrated look at Mozart's interest in the Mason's Art. And that is exactly what I wanted. But proving again the adage of "be careful what you wish for" is another matter. I want to be as sweet about this as possible, as sweet as these candies, but some people online are assuming that the paper is by the conductor Peter Paul Fuchs. He was the conductor in Louisiana, who is no longer with us, and anyways, was much older than myself. I hear he was a very fine conductor, but he is no relation to me. I was a kid in the seventies, so I am not the person who conducted at the Metropolitan Opera in the forties. No wonder things get mixed up in the world, it's kinda funny! Anyways, I will accent the sweetness of people being interested in Mozart and his views, as described by me. Anyways, that's my sweet reminder to those interested in my thoughts, like these chocolates I used to buy buy in Europe for my piano teacher because you could not get them then in America. I am a Scholar working in Washington DC specializing in exactly the topic the paper treats. Life is funny!! But it is sweet people are interested in Mozart and his religious views!

Carlo and Corrado Assenza are brothers. With love and passion, they run the Caffè Sicilia, located near the fantastic but unlucky (it collapsed in 1996 due to an earhtquake) Cathedral of Noto, the Sicilian capital of baroque architecture. Their sweets cannot be described. In the already rich panorama of quality Sicilian confectionery production, they have managed to create a unique philosophy that finds a clear expression in each of their products: preserves, jams, and torrone (nougat). It's a simple philosophy, easy to say, but hard to be confined in a glass jar or a pretty box. It's the philosophy of absolute naturalness. And in a land where nature wears sumptuous robes, naturalness is anything but dull minimalism, it's sunny and fragrant. From citrus marmalades to preserves, torrone, almond paste (you can make a fabulous "almond milk" with it!) and pistachio paste, Caffe Sicilia's fruit is handled in a way that lets it express its soft and seductive fragrance. It is wonderful to experience and taste how Carlo and Corrado manage to maintain this recognizable trademark in all its rich variety of flavors. The Preserves, the Jams, the Marmalades, and the Torroni (nougats) by the Caffè Sicilia confectioners are many!

Pistachio Nuts Natural Review

Pistachio Nuts Natural
Average Reviews:

When Jesus saved all of the holy mesiah from drowning by making Noah build a giant boat, he must have messed up and let pistachios on the boat. Who creates such a pecular object? The ackward shell on the outside hiding the hidious greenish brown nut on the inside. This is the nerd of the nut family people. Then some of them the shell doesnt have that little helper crack to make it easy to peel. Then you have to bite it or something and get shells in your mouth. Its horriable that a nut could be deemed livable, we should all band together and rid the world of pistachios. Maybe if they called it something cooler i would have different views on it. How about calling it "The Evil Nut From Hell That's Color Is Best Described As Breen, A Mix Of Brown And Green", then i would have no problem with it. If we all band together this fantasy could become a reality. maybe well call it tenfhtcibdabamobag for short.
Actually now that i think of it, I love pistachios and the name. Disregard everything I had just stated and go eat some NOW.

My favorite pistachios are from Turkey. This did not taste like Turkish pistachio but it was still OK. Packaging would have been better. I still liked the product though!
