(More customer reviews)I've always wondered why Reese's didn't have a peanut butter and well, now they do! You can open a jar of this stuff, put it next to every other brand and NONE of them can compare to color, freshness, etc. I've used this stuff for years and won't use anything else for my gourmet peanut butter fudge. It makes such a HUGE difference in the taste, that I actually tossed out a batch of my famous fudge when I substituted another brand and the results were terrible! It is so amazing to me how one brand can make that much difference in how a recipe can turn out, or not, as in this case. Can't recommend this stuff enough - it's loved in this house. Highly, highly recommend!

While Junior Mints are little dime-sized bits of peppermint flavored candy covered in dark chocolate, York Peppermint Patties are significantly larger, though the patties are also peppermint flavored candy covered by dark chocolate.
I think it is interesting that York Peppermint Patties, which I think I remembered eating for most of my life, only began national distribution after Peter Paul acquired the York Cone Company in the early 1970s. Also of historical note is that Cadbury Schweppes then merged with Peter Paul, and Hershey Foods then purchased Cadbury Schweppes' U.S. candy operations.
If you like this delicious mint pattie, you should also consider trying York Limited Edition mints that are produced from time to time. Enjoy!

First there were M&Ms, which are good. Good enough for Reese's to take the idea and expand on it. And Reese's Pieces are so good that M&Ms stole the idea back - and doesn't do peanut butter anywhere near as well as Reese's! Like M&Ms, Reese's Pieces are little dots with a candy-coating; inside is a creamy peanut butter. They don't compare with M&Ms Plain, but they beat the peanut butter out of M&Ms Peanut Butter!

(More customer reviews)I know, it sounds freakish - like State Fair Freak Show freaky - a red-blooded American who doesn't like Chocolate! The darker the chocolate, the less I like it - but there is something about these peanut butter cups I cannot resist. I'm not even a big fan of peanut butter - I don't know if they sprinkle crack cocaine on these or cast a spell or what - but I've gotta have one of these packages at least once a month or I go crazy. I've had some other brands of supposed peanut butter cups as a pale substitute when my craving hit and the Reese's weren't available - and they did little to satisfy. Reese's is da bomb!

(More customer reviews)I'm amused by Amazon's seller on this item - the Natural Health shop! Hey, I've always known that Reese's peanut butter cups are healthy! They've made me smile for 43 years so I'm glad someone agrees with me! I buy these things all the time, have been doing so for years, and they're still awesome. I think Hershey's outdid themselves on this invention - many have tried to copy, all have failed. There's just nothing like a Reese's peanut butter cup, egg, Christmas tree, you name it. Savor the moment and by golly, will they EVER make these things life-size?!!! One of the best things about them is if you're starving, since they do have peanut butter in them, they do help get you to your next meal. Great, great product, been loving them for years, now I even buy the peanut butter (it's WAY better than Jif!)! Highly recommend!

It tastes just as good, if not better than Reeses (note: I have been obsessed with Reeses since I was roughly 4 or 5 years old). Only 190 calories, opposed to 260 with Reeses, and it doesn't leave you feeling bloated and thirsty, since they have NO sodium. A less guilty way to indulge in chocolate and peanut butter.

(More customer reviews)When I lived in the U.K., I was exposed to Chocolate bars from all over Europe, and liked several very much, but when I was near American Air Bases, I would always get a friend to get me a Hershey Almond Bar, because I never found any candy I liked as well as this classic.
For a short while I thought that Hershey had outdone themselves with the advent of the Gold Bars, but they were discontinued after a short run. I did get to see them made and got one from the visitor's center while they were still available though.
So, although it may be relative to what you grow up with, if it is a choice between a gourmet chocolate, and a Hershey Almond Bar, give me the Hershey's every time. The Giant Size bars are the best since the end of the Golden Bar, but if you are staring at the vending machine and can't decide what you want... You can't go wrong with a Hershey Bar!

My mother used to always buy me candy once a week at the market and I could pick out whatever I wanted. Guess what I picked week after week? Yes! You guessed it, Reese's Peanut Butter Cups!
These are at a truly discounted price for a box of thirty-six (36) with two pieces in each package. (Just like if you bought them as a single package) Which actually makes a total of Seventy-Two (72) cups. This is definitely enough for the entire family to have for quite a while. And to be quite honest, I was worried at first that maybe they were discounted because they would come stale or smashed during shipping or broken. But, I thought at this price it was enough for me to want to take the chance.
I'm happy to report that they were fresh, and delicious. They came double boxed in the mail and very quickly. I have dealt with this seller several times and have NEVER, not even ONCE had a problem.
