I mean when I buy a chocolate that has chili in it, I expect it to have a kick, but this had no spice or even a little bit of a kick to it. It just tasted like chocolate. If you want a good chocolate bar with chili that you can actually taste then I would suggest "Chuao Chocolate Bar: Spicy Maya" It is so good and amazing!!! Dont get me wrong, this is a great chocolate but dont expect a chili kick to it.

Crisp white chocolate shell, with the most delicious, smooth, and creamy (vanilla?) centers, they're truly irresistible. But beware: at around 70 calories apiece, they can wreck your determination to stick to a healthy diet. Still one a day won't hurt much - be strong! MMmmmm.

(More customer reviews)Ok, I'll come out of the closet and admit: I've tried to get used to it, but will never completely embrace a love for very, very dark chocolate. So sue me. It's just too bitter. Too lacking in that luxuriant creaminess which makes me adore milk chocolate -- which for afficianados of "real" chocolate, really ain't chocolate at all. Oh, and don't forget the whole cause du jour of the "MUFA's" thing...monounsaturated fats. The stuff that's good for you, I've heard.
THIS stuff is the next best thing. The chili adds a wonderful bit of heat. Just right. The chocolate is slightly less than 50% "dark", if I get the gist of the nutrition label. For me - the perfect blend: enough dark to please someone who eats it for health reasons (like THAT was ever why we fell in love with chocolate)...while retaining that lovely, melt-in-your-mouth-feel only something with enough fat can offer.
Heaven in small bites paired with something I relish as I write this: an equally non-snobular red table wine -- Kendall Jackson's deeeelish "Summation" (heavier than my beloved Chianti, lighter than Merlot. In short, luscious perfection and balance. When I'm not sure what wine to bring, I can always rely on a KJ!)
Afraid of the dark? Fear not. Lindt's Excellence Chili Dark just might tempt you away from the light.

(More customer reviews)If you're a chocoholic you'll find these treats irresistible. If you're not already addicted to chocolate, you'll be won over. The taste is pure and sweet, a milk chocolate rather than a heavy dark.
The balls are individually wrapped in shiny red paper, which makes them perfect to be served with after dinner coffee. Also, each bag is pretty enough to be given as a gift.
I know a pack of 12 sounds like a lot of candy but we keep ours in the refrigerator and have found them to be fresh as new after weeks of storage. (But do remember to allow the chocolate to come to room temperature for full flavor). Each truffle is a generous two-bite size.
We especially enjoy this collection because both the solid chocolate truffles and those with a creamy center are included.

I bought at least 10 of these bars in local Walgreens when they were on sale and loved them so much that I had to buy them here on Amazon.com. Well, after buying 10 more on Amazon and having eaten about 3 of them I can honestly say I am fresh out of " love " for these chocolate bars cos like the old Bryan Adams song says, " Thought I Died And Went To Heaven ", I INDEED WENT TO HEAVEN WITH THESE BARS ALL THE TIMES I BOUGHT THEM BUT NOW I WANT TO BE A BAD BOY AND GO EVERYWHERE ELSE ( like Meat Loaf says ), so I've been trying out other chocolate bars. However, if you are a premium chocolate fan you owe it to yourself to try Ghirardelli Milk and Dark chocolate, and some of their other varieties too. THESE ARE HEAVENLY, BUT BE FOREWARNED: OVERLOAD IS IN YOUR FUTURE WITH THE QUALITY OF THIS CARAMEL CONCOCTION!
