(More customer reviews)I bought this for people as gifts and each time, people have gone nuts for it. I never tried it myself, but am told over and over again how delicious these are. For this reason, I only get Turkisk Delight from Sultan because I know it will be good and fresh. I really should buy one for myself to try.

(More customer reviews)This is not like any other candy. It is soft and the flavor is more from the nuts than sugar. This Turkish Delight was pretty good but bulkier than other turkish delights. I wish it was in smaller pieces.

(More customer reviews)Before I lived in Turkey with the military, I never knew what Turkish Delight was though I'd heard of it in the Chronicles of Narnia (The Lion, the Witch, and the Wardrobe). If you've never had Turkish Delight, I would compare it to the inside of a jelly bean. It is served in small cubes and covered in powdered sugar to keep them from sticking together. The plain flavor is similar to a white jelly bean. I rated it a four because it is slightly fresher and softer in Turkey, but I was impressed with the taste. Enjoy!

Haci Bekir was also the first brand I'd tried, and I've not found anything that measured up. This has a lovely texture, not goopy or chewy at all. Truly melts in your mouth. It's not cloying or oversweet. This is the confection that dreams are made of.
