Warheads candies are an extremely sour candy also known as mega warheads. They are available in 5 sour flavors. Buy them in a 240 count tub, a 12 count box or in bite size tubes. Eat them one at a time or if you are brave enough put a hand full in your mouth either way they will make you pucker up. Warheads derive their strong sour flavor from a combination of malic acid, ascorbic acid, and citric acid. These are applied as a coating to the outside of the small, hard candies. The intense sour flavor fades after about 20 to 50 seconds. Warheads are marketed to children as an "extreme" candy. The name "Warhead" comes from the notion that the sour taste of the candies is akin to a real warhead going off in one's mouth.

(More customer reviews)The gumball starts off with a pleasantly super-sour, hard-to-take tart shell, then winds down as a sweet bubble gum that holds flavor for a couple of minutes. It's not hard to go through all five in the sleeve fairly quickly. The initial first few seconds of each gumball is not for those who are not fans of ultra-sour.
The box arrived in good condition and quickly. I won't hesitate to order another box when my current supply runs low.

Candy Warheads Extreme Sours are bright colors with a slight powdered look to the surface, I was guessing that they were coated with some sort of super sourness. They don't smell like much, just a kind of vague fruit punch when they're all together, but after reading the warnings, my mouth was watering.

(More customer reviews)Not very sour, and they have an odd powdery aftertaste. Compared to the tart flavor of Skittles or Sweet Tarts, these do not even come close. If you are a fan of Toxic Waste or Warheads don't waste your time or money on these. On the other hand, if you think Sweet Tarts are too tangy you may like them.

This tub holds 240 of the candies which should keep you puckered up for a long, long time. They taste great and beware, some are extremely sour. You may want to spit those ones out, but don't, after all, that is why you buy sour candy and the flavor is awesome. Charms Sour Balls Review

(More customer reviews)I have loved these sour balls since childhood but was really disappointed that each can had only 1--I repeat-1 wild cherry sourball. The red included in numbers is something like a raspberry. Really poor form, Charms folks.
