She carefully picked out from the glass case one marzipan potato for me to try. Never in my life had I tasted anything like that! Having lived there for 13 months at that time and returned to Germany and tried many kinds of marzipan, I can testify that Niederegger is quite simply the very best and that the potatoes are the very best of pure marzipan. For decades I could never acquire these delicacies, but now Amazon has broken through to online possibilities. Try some. Give some. You won't be disappointed. But remember, nowhere else do they make it like this!
