You get on a roll with shelling them and popping them into your mouth - more so than just buying already shelled pistachios. Pavlov would have had a field day studying the effect of shelling vs. just eating pre-shelled pistachios! The jalepeño flavor is mostly on the shells, but you'll get it on your fingers as you open the shells - so don't pick your nose or rub your eyes, otherwise you'll be sorry! An interesting combination of flavors to be sure - great for starch-aholics that want to avoid starch!
