(More customer reviews)Tim Tams are an icon in Australia. Great cookies (they call them biscuits) now available in the US. Do the "Tim Tam Slam" by biting off a tiny bite on each end, dipping one end in coffee and sucking like a straw. The coffee is absorbed by the cookie and the taste is wonderful!

Australian Violet Crumble (Pack 3 Bars) Review

(More customer reviews)This is my absolute favorite candy bar. It is similar to sponge candy (seafoam to Michiganders), with a honeycomb like center that just melts in your mouth. The outside is covered in chocolate. It's somewhat hard to find and a bit expensive, though Amazon's price is a little better than the last time I purchased it in a store.

(More customer reviews)A Cadbury dairy milk snack bar is a block of dairy milk chocolate in which each "square" of chocolate is filled with one of six different fillings: pineapple, strawberry, turkish delight, caramel, and so on. It's a bit like a box of chocolates, but in block form instead of individually wrapped treats. The quality is actually not quite up to what you'd normally expect from box chocolate, but it is pretty good. So I've given this product four stars.
BUT, that judgement doesn't necessarily factor in the price...
Prices on amazon can fluctuate quite a bit over time, so things may have changed quite considerably by the time you're reading this. But right now they're asking over $10 a block. Which is a bit steep.
On the other hand, this is a LARGE block of chocolate. I confess that while I've had many of these, I haven't bought any of them from Amazon - here in Australia you can buy them at just about any shop on the street. However, as near as I can glean (after peering at my screen veeeeeery closely), the product on sale here is the 250 gm block. That basically means it's equivalent in size to five regular chocolate bars. So while the current price still doesn't exactly work out as cheap, it's not quite as bad as it first appears.

Bounty Minis in Bag (198 g) Review

(More customer reviews)My husband and I picked up a bag of these the other day and they are already gone! Even though these are made by Mars an American company we haven't found these in the US, we actually bought ours in Germany.

We have both been fans of Almond Joy(milk chocolate, coconut, almonds) and Mounds(DARK chocolate, coconut) in the past but these are better! I don't really know why these are better, perhaps more of a fresh coconut taste and better chocolate?? Either way these are awesome! If you like Almond Joy, Mounds, or just chocolate and coconut you will LOVE these!

We really hope these become more popular so they sell them in more US stores.

Pros:
-Like Mounds on Steroids, only Milk Chocolate and not dark
-These come in Dark Chocolate too!
-Really, Really, Really Good!

Cons:
-On the sweet side, can't eat a lot without getting a tummy ache which could be good for portion control, so perhaps this could be a pro? haha
-Not a "healthy" snack, but that's not why we buy these right?

Tip: Try putting them in the fridge then consume, mmmmmm :)

Mars Bounty Milk Review

(More customer reviews)"Bounty" bars consist of a soft, almost molten center of sweet coconut coated in an outer layer of milk chocolate. You can easily buy them "over the counter" here in Australia. But if that's not the case where you are, and you don't mind a diet rich in junk food, then yes, this is a candy bar worth going to the trouble of ordering over the internet.
Note that here on Amazon you can purchase bounty bars in boxes with varying numbers of bars inside, so it is worth your while to crunch the numbers and think about what package offers the best value for you. At the same time, it may not be entirely in the best interests of your health to have _too_ many of these things lying around at home all at once!

Cadbury Cherrry Ripe Multipack Review

(More customer reviews)For those of you not familiar with the cherry ripe, the filling is a dried and slightly candied mince of cherries and coconut. This is coated with a thin outer layer of dark chocolate. They are extremely popular in Australia, where I live, and are in fact one of the classic candy bars we all grew up with. These things are delicious, so if they don't sell them where you are and you have a yen to try another culture's junk food, let me say cherry ripes are a pretty good choice.
Unusually, on a per gram basis I'm pretty sure this bag of "fun sized" bars offers better value than the only other way I can see of buying cherry ripes on amazon - the six pack of full sized bars. That works out at over $3.32 a bar. But hey, amazon's prices do fluctuate considerably over time, so it might be worth your while to check my figures. They may well be out of date by the time you're reading this.

(More customer reviews)I sent these to a friend of mine who fell in love with them when we studied abroad. They arrived on time and apparently quite edible because she has been loving them! Only downside is the seller doesn't allow for any sort of note enclosure to let the recipient know who its from. Luckily this gift was a no-brainer as she knew I sent it. Add in the option of allowing a written message and I'd give this 5 stars.

(More customer reviews)Finally, after years of searching, I've found a dependable source of the best candy on Earth! I first had a Violet Crumble while visiting Austin, TX. (They have the best groceries there.) Here in Nashville, the closest thing I've found is the Cadbury Crunchie bar, which is similar and good, but I felt I was missing something. I am not Australian, and do not have an Australia obsession, I just really like this candy bar.
The center is a matrix of crunchy honeycomb-like stuff, and is covered with really good milk chocolate. Many popular American chocolate candies are made with Hershey milk chocolate, which uses sour milk as their 'secret ingredient.' The Violet Crumble does not, which I think is an improvement (definatly a change) over the local stuff. The chocolate of the VC is really good in quality, not waxy, and not too thin. This is a really great candy bar. You should try it.

It is crazy that it is not marketed in the United States like other candy bars. Because of Amazon.com, I was able to have a case delivered to my door. For this I am grateful.

Imagine my delight when I went to the UK and found them there. I found them in Germany. I found them in Bahrain. They're made in America, but not sold here? "Whazzupwidat"???

Bounty has a coconut filling covered with milk chocolate and is one of the few chocolates to come wrapped in two individual halves. It is manufactured by Mars, Incorporated and sold in several countries in Europe, Oceania, Canada, and the Middle East. Although Mars is an American company, Bounty bars have not been available in the United States since the mid-1990's.

(More customer reviews)If you want a candy bar that melts in you mouth, the Cadbury Crunchie bar is it. Great product and the best service I've gotten from a company in a while. I grew up eating these and it was a special treat to get some delivered to my home. They are unavailable where I live now. The company went above and beyond in their packaging too and they arrived safe and in the best condition. Would buy these from this company again.
