It has been a while since I last saw Kojak with a Tootsie Roll Pop in his mouth, but I am unable to recall if he ever got to the point where he bit through to the center. I can only suck on one of these for so long and then...CRUNCH! Tootsie Roll Pops are alternatively called Tootsie Pops, as noted on the Tootsie Roll web site.
Tootsie Roll Pops, invented in 1931, have been one of my favorites since my childhood. Of course, some of us never quite grow up, and the pleasure of sucking on a Tootsie Pop remains.

Caramel Apple Pops 48CT Box Review

(More customer reviews)My wife is addicted to these Suckers, Lollipops, or Pops. She could go thru a box a week if she had them. Very good to eat, not so pretty to look at :-) She says they taste just like a caramel apple.
They are not shaped like normal suckers. they are inconsistant in shape but that shouldn't matter.

At first, it bothered me that I had to buy a dozen bags as a minimum purchase but after the shipment arrived, I just gave some out to my Filipino and American colleagues.

(More customer reviews)If you live in Ohio, then you can't have these, or so they tell us. Because, here in Ohio, we like our food bland. Bland and so dead that all the flavor is boiled out of whatever we get to eat and if it isn't cooked that way, someone has to complain and say they speak for all of us. Ohio, the food concentration camp of North America!
Sarcasm aside, when we USED to have things like this, people's minds were blown apart. Kids loved them, we all ate them all the time, and life was generally sunny and happy. Now that they're gone, we have 212 gray days a year here in Ohio, all because they've taken away our happy food and ANYTHING that remotely resembles flavor. So, if you're blessed enough NOT to live in Ohio (I've heard it's spreading to Indiana too so watch out...), be sure you partake of these. They're completely awesome, great for vacations, and taste just like the pops, only without the stick. And when you enjoy these wonderful pieces of candy, please, remember us poor folks in Ohio with our bland, boring, lifeless food and be glad you know how to live "outside the box." Highly recommend!

(More customer reviews)Where I live you can only get these in a big bag of mixed tootsie products around Halloween time--and there are only about ten in the bag--I was hooked after eating those ten! lol....I searched online and voila! A whole bag of these yummy fat free treats! My friend found these at a candy shop by me and brought me a big bag-what a big disappointment! They were stale.
I like the ones online from Amazon--they came fresh! I bought them into my job-everyone loved them...I'm partial to the vanilla!

I decided to count the quantity of each flavor:

I'm not a fan of apple flavored candy, but the Green Apple flavor isn't too bad. These Tootsie Pops are for my hubby anyway; he takes them along for long car trips. I couldn't count them without having at least one. yum...I love Tootsie Pops
Tootsie Pops have a Tootsie Roll center (a chewy, chocolate candy that doesn't melt) surrounded by a hard candy sucker/lollipop.
One Tootsie Pop has 60 calories, 10 grams of sugar, 15g total carbohydrate & 2% of the daily iron requirement; no fat, cholesterol, fiber or sodium.
~~UPDATE: We just received our 2nd order of Tootsie Pops. For anyone who's interested, I did another count.
