(More customer reviews)I remember this popcorn from my childhood, so I was so excited to see it on Amazon. The popcorn bag is just like regular microwave popcorn. After it pops, you cut up the solid caramel block and place it on top of the popped corn in a bowl. After another zap in the microwave, you stir it around until it becomes gooey, delicious caramel popcorn. It's sticky, but it doesn't stick to your hands. I suggest sorting out the unpopped kernels before adding the caramel, as they become stuck to the popped kernels and difficult to see. This is the tastiest caramel popcorn, and I highly recommend it over dry caramel popcorn.

(More customer reviews)I am admittedly a big fan of Barry Farm products. They make just about any food, veggie, dairy product, or spice in either a freeze dried or powdered form. As an outdoor enthusiast that enjoys carrying along a little taste of home into the savage wilderness, this is a company that I am well familiar with. Not everything they make is delicious, or worth it. My experience with them however is that most of their products are just about the finest, and many times the only ones around. This cheddar cheese powder is definitely one of their best. Many reviewers here mention making macaroni and cheese, and popcorn with it. Although I have used it for those purposes like everyone else, I have also used this powder as an addition to many soups that call for cheese, or grated cheese. (It makes a very flavorful substitute for grated cheese in many recipes.) Hamburger and sausage soups are a good example. Many times I have concocted delicious one pot meals using this powder while out in the wilds on a hike, or camping. They are remembered as some of the best meals I have ever had. It is also very good when sprinkled on home made pizza, and I have an excellent recipe that includes this powder, butter, flour, and salt, that makes a delicious cheese spread for crackers and super bowl parties. Barry Farms cheddar powder is strong and flavorful, and a little goes a long ways. A one pound bag will get you through many a recipe and outdoor adventure. However since the shipping on this is a little high, (and the powder so reasonable) I suggest buying two pounds or more at once and storing it in a good air tight container. You will save a lot on the shipping, and this powder will last literally years if stored correctly. I highly recommend this cheddar powder for those that enjoy the simple pleasures of popcorn and mac and cheese, as well as the more adventurous among us in the kitchen, and over an open fire...

(More customer reviews)I ordered this to use in my popcorn machine. I was uneasy about how the kettle would handle this product, but since I have a great kettle cleaner I went ahead and ordered it. I am sure glad that I did because this is FABULOUS! It leaves no mess in the kettle at all. When it starts to pop the first kernels that come out are the best coated ones and then as more pop they get less coated, but if you mix them all together I think you get great flavor. Just remember this is a sticky coating when it first comes out so unpopped kernels stick to the popped ones so watch out for those. Still a great tasting product that I will keep purchasing... It is very sweet, but I love it all the same.

Make cherry frosted corn in your Popper! Fresh Warm frosted corn is a special treat. Frosted Popcorn is easy to make with Glaze Pop and your genuine Commercial Popcorn Popper! Great tasting One Step Frosted Corn in just a few minutes! Use your regular amount of corn and popping oil. (Do Not Use Salt!) Use a measure of Glaze Pop equal to 1/2 the quantity of popcorn. Put the oil in the popper first and as soon as it liquefies add the popcorn and Glaze Pop. Keep stirring until the popping slows down (do not wait until the last kernel pops) and dump corn promptly. Allow to cool before eating.

(More customer reviews)I have loved making Jiffy Pop since I was a kid and have since made it a point to share the fun with my own 2 children. It is getting almost impossible to find this stuff so I was really glad to find it here. I eagerly placed an order back at the end of July 2008.
My order arrived quickly and was packaged nicely. I was super excited to see so much yummy jiffy pop all in one box. Upon closer examination however, I realized that the expiration date was the first week of October 2008. My kids and I love Jiffy Pop but making/eating 24 servings in just a little over 2 months was going to be an impossible task! I ended up giving several of them away to friends and family before they became too stale to eat.
So the deal was great and I will likely try again but just be sure to ask about the expiration date before you order so you ensure that you get that great *fresh* Jiffy Pop taste!
