I love lemon anyway, but the combination of lemon and dark chocolate was beyond my expectation. This one earns an A rating in my book. And it is top of my Favorites list.

These are an exquisite blend of snappy dark chocolate with a caramel filing that surpasses any I have ever tasted. Try these once and you'll be hooked. I applaud the Newman's Own chocolatiers who came up with this exquisite--yet very affordable--gourmet treat.
NOTE: I store mine in the fridge and the caramel filling remains liquidy smooth, even when chilled.

(More customer reviews)This is an excellent chocolate bar that you will want to keep the whole box for yourself. The chocolate is not bitter and just the right amount of slight sweetness. The box I received does not expire until 02/09, but I doubt they will last that long. Hopefully when it gets closer to Valentine's Day,Amazon will carry them again. They were an incredible bargain price for 73% cocoa, under 2 dollars each for a 3.2 ounce bar. Wonderful!

(More customer reviews)I just was at my local healthy market, and looking for some dark chocolate, I had never tried this brand, I usually get the Green & Black brand, and then I noticed this Equal Exchange bar, the 71 %, and it was the last one in the display so I thought it must be good if it's almost sold out - and it was!
Not just the intense deep flavor, the high percentage of chocolate and all the good health that goes with it - but the texture! velvety, melt in your mouth, reminding me almost of a quality version of the 'ice cube' chocolates I liked as a kid. It is fair traded and organic, and a win all around - just be moderate, it's addictive!
