(More customer reviews)The only make this once a year, and it is a family tradition in my home. I ordered some from Amazon ( not the current vendor listed, I think, not sure) in late November, after finding it sold out at traditional retail venues in my area.
This certainly seems to be a popular product, lets hope they continue to ship more! Yummy to snack on, and great to jazz up a dish ( or martini glass?) of ice cream.

(More customer reviews)This Ghirardelli Peppermint Bark chocolate has 3 component to it which makes it taste very interesting as you take a bite at it. Chocolate layer (available in milk or dark or 60% dark), white chocolate layer, and peppermint crust. It's kind of unorthodox to use peppermint (or replace mint) with chocolate (as you might be tired of the peppermint candy cane), but they didn't put too much peppermint crust so it is good. but enough to give the kick of the mint taste (and mintier than the regular mint chocolate)
If you like mint or peppermint, there is a good chance that you will like this peppermint bark chocolate (maybe not at the first bite). This is perfect for the holiday time, after dinner and dessert.
I like the Dark Chocolate version compare to the Milk chocolate version because the white chocolate layer is already milky and sweet, as well as the peppermint crust, so the dark chocolate will give more balance and reduce the overall sweetness of this chocolate
If you like this chocolate, you might want to try the after eight mint chocolate which is also very good. You might also want to try (if you haven't already) the Ghirardelli Mint Chocolate (Dark Chocolate with white mint filling). It's really good.
The ornament ball tins that comes with this chocolate is really cool by the way. Nice design and color and nice finish. Perfect as a gift too. Collectible grade (and it is limited edition too).

(More customer reviews)Bought these as gifts and the box is super cute! Unfortunately it's also very delicate. Most of the hats were bent or slightly torn on arrival. If this is for kids they will never notice, but if giving as a gift or using as decor, you may be a bit pickier! It is nice that you can open the box (around the snowman's middle is a space with a flap) without damaging the box, though.
Each box has 10 individually wrapped Ghirardelli squares. The chocolates are delicious, as Ghirardelli generally is, and I love that there is a layer of milk chocolate on the bottom instead of just the peppermint in the white chocolate that is on top. Also, the peppermint isn't hard on your teeth, which I was concerned about for grandparents. These are easy to eat for those with teeth that can't handle chewing regular hard peppermint candy.

(More customer reviews)These truffle cremes are scrumptious. I am completely addicted. I love peppermint paired with chocolate and Dilettante's truffle cremes are the perfect blending. They're pornographic. I literally hid them from children (and my sisters, and a few friends, and...). I bought 3 boxes. One to give away, one to share with guests, and one to eat on my own. Well, they arrived 4 days ago and I'm already 1 box down. I don't think I'll be sharing. I am really trying not to eat one now. It's hard. Chocolate pepperminty crack I'm telling ya. People these things are good. Smooth and velvety creme on the inside and nice chocolate shell. Advice: don't pop them. Take small bites and let it linger. TASTY!

One thing to note: if you do not consume it quickly the mint dries out within the wrapped candy, but that was my own fault. It's not inedible afterwards but more on the level of a peppermint patty.

(More customer reviews)Have you ever gone to an Olive Garden chain restaurant and been given a rectangular chocolate mint with your bill? These are those mints! At first, I though OG was handing out Andes Creme de Menthe mints, and I bought the Creme de Menthe at the grocery store only to be disappointed by a sharper mint taste (peppermint even, maybe?). Ew. Note to self: You can't find Andes Mint Parfait candies at the grocery store. They are online only, it seems.
To describe the Andes candies in Mint Parfait flavor, they're a smoother, creamier taste of mint chocolate. The texture is also smooth and creamy, go figure! Very very good. When my brother turned 30, I lined the rim of the chocolate birthday cake with the Andes Mint Parfaits as a decoration, because he loves these! It was a hit.
