(More customer reviews)This type of candy is very popular in parts of Europe, like Scandinavia and Germany. To give salty licorice a one star rating because it tastes like salty licorice is supposed to, is like complaining about sugar tasting too sweet.
These candies look very similar to Malaco's Salty fish, but tastes different to my big disappointment. Not the greatest salty licorice I've had, but works fine when there's none other around to buy.

They have a lovely, mildly spicy flavor, freshen your breath, soothe your sore threat and taste very "natural."
