Jelly Belly BeanBoozled contains 10 colors of beans, and 20 flavors (10 "real" ones and 10 different ones). The black Licorice bean looks exactly like the Skunk Spray bean. Sweet, luscious Caramel Corn might also be Moldy Cheese. You may think you're tasting our world-famous Buttered Popcorn bean, but what you'll be biting into could actually be Rotten Egg. They also came on another trip with a bunch of kids and it entertained them for about 20 minutes. We our money's worth in entertainment value. Much better than a craft at that age.

(More customer reviews)A little fun, Ok, these are a riot, maybe a better gag gift than anything else. You have to proceed very carefully should you choose to try these. They are not kidding that they faithfully reproduced the idea from the book and movie about jelly beans that had bad flavors along with good. Now they offer a chart you can compare the look of the bean to figure out what flavor a bean is before you bite. Thhey are made by the Jelly Belly company so they are the highest quality jelly beans with some of their typical really good flavors. They have some no-typical flavors made just for this Harry Potter set called Wild Flavors, and they are pretty gross. Bu after all, kids love gross stuff so it's OK.
You can recover from some of the bad flavors, such as grass, soap, dirt, spaghetti, sardines and earwax - they are authentic and taste like these items. But the vomit flavor may actually make you naseous, as it did to me. I could not get the taste out of my mouth for 2 days. See I bought mine before they started offering charts to check the flavor. So proceed cautiously, take a tiny test bite if it is hard to tell from the chart to avoid a nasty suprise. Some packages have a nice multicolor cloth bag included.

I love the all the flavors but the green pear is my favorite. Purple is watermelon, Red is cherry, green is pear and yellow is tangerine but taste lemon to me.

The item was delivered quickly as Amazon has fantastic shipping. When I went to enjoy my first bag of sour skittles, I found that the candy appeared to be melted and the colors of the skittles ran into each other. Moreover, the sour coating was minimal to non-existent. I consistently found the same result with all the individually packaged bags. I don't know if there was a storage problem or if I received a bad batch, but i wasn't satisfied with the purchase.

(More customer reviews)So I got a packet of ice mice in a package from some relatives, and it's pretty good! It's like a hard candy with a figure of a mouse in it. The mouse is edible, and the candy is good, but I gave it a 4 because the candy is REALLY sticky & REALLY sweet.

(More customer reviews)Most of us (girls mostly) grew up running away from, chasing, or killing this little insect. You'd never think of actual eating one. Most people have a problem with eating crickets or any insect not because of the fear of how it may taste, but the fact that it's an INSECT. People also see these little guys as dirty and not worth being food for humans. This is understandable looking at some cricket or other insect that wanders inside of your home, but it's different when they are farmed especially for human consumption as these. I mean, you wouldn't just chuck some random insect into your mouth, even if you were into eating insects. It's like gnawing on a cow while it's grazing and this clearly isn't the case.
This product is one of the first "alternative-protein" foods I've tried. Like almost everyone, I had to get over the shock of putting something that could also have die in the soles of my shoes into my mouth. Once you get past the looks and the no no thoughts, they pretty much taste like roasted, flavored peanuts though a bit hollow. The more you eat the more "normal" it feels. I even had a friend try one ( I paid them $1), they popped it into their mouth, Fear Factor face and all, and asked for more. The only drawback for me is that it takes more than one at a time to make it feel as though you're not eating air and I didn't get my dollar back.
After eating crickets, I wanted to know what else there is to try and so I've sampled just about every other bug Hotlix has to offer. If you're an adventurous eater like me, this is a must. Absolutely. If not, they're great for gag gifts, party icebreakers, and pranks.

(More customer reviews)I am unable to remember exactly how I came across these, but try them I did. When you hit the fruit flavors you are readily reminded of Jelly Belly jelly beans. Given that Bertie Bott's Beans are made by Jelly Belly, your taste buds would be correct. So, what makes these particular Jelly Belly jelly beans different from regular Jelly Bellys? The bizarre flavors, of course.
I think I had a vomit bean in my box, but I did not think it was that bad. I also had dirt, which tasted like I thought dirt should taste like. The sardine flavored beans tasted just like fish; strongly like fish. Unfortunately, I got too many of the sardine flavored beans, so I think I have had enough of those. The grass flavored beans tasted like grass. I was able to reasonably handle all these flavors except for the earthworm, which is just gross. I have had real earthworms before, and they did not taste as bad as these jelly beans did.
I am amazed at how authentic the Bertie Bott's Beans tasted. I warn you that they taste so authentic that you may wish you had not eaten them. For children, who often like such things, these candies may be a perfect gift, especially for male children. These candies may be great for someone interested in some sort of a contest. However, if you are past the phase where getting grossed out by nasty tasting stuff, then I recommend you pass these by.
