The actual candies themselves were a little hard for my tastes and the flavor was somewhat less than expected. To be fair, I had a completely different candy in mind when I purchased these, so when they arrived as a gift for a friend, I had to wait until they were opened to check them out. I was hoping for the thicker, very chewy fruit candies that I have purchased before in smaller quantities, so this error was mine. If you like this type of candy, I think you will be happy w/ your purchase.

The candy itself was chewy, moist, and bursting with delicious fruit flavor. I would definitely buy from this vendor again.

Didn't know they had it in tubs, too. Then I can portion-control myself with sandwich bags. I think I like the apple raspberry best.

(More customer reviews)My title pretty much says it all. I have recently become addicted to these candies, and my local supermarket only carries orange and cherry flavored fruit slices. I was SO happy to find a supplier through Amazon. Now I won't have to deal with seeing the funny looks on the cashiers' faces when I come through with 3-4 bags of each flavor (LOL!), and I can have more variety to choose from. Thanks for carrying these!

(More customer reviews)I bought 3 flavors: cherry, lemon and lime. All are terrific. The texture and density is wonderful...they give just the right amount to the tooth, neither too soft nor too hard. And the flavors are excellent. They come in perfect sizes, too...I think they're 1 pound packages double wrapped in clear celophane with a gold twist tie so perfectly adequate for gifts, too. I'll be a customer as long as The Candy Depot makes these confections. And, NO FAT!

I'm mainly rating this item because my initial bag I received was torn with some candies scattered in the box (everything else in the shipment was perfect as is usually the case). I sent amazon an email about the problem and they immediately shipped out a new bag which I received the next day which to me seems amazingly fast. This is one reason why I do business with amazon and recommend them to a lot of people I know.
