These solid 54% cacao dark chocolates are infused with herbs, spices, and natural flavors. Each chocolate is a layered experience designed with an initial upfront flavor, pure chocolate in the middle and then a residual flavor lingering on the palate. 15 pieces of chocolate each hand boxed collection contains both a tasting guide and color-coded flavor guide. Three Pieces of each flavor: Yellow-Fresh Lemon and Sweet Basil. This chocolate smells of lemon when you first put it in your mouth, then smooth chocolate flavor then takes over. When the chocolate is almost gone you will start tasting the sweet basil which will linger on your pallet once the chocolate is completely gone. Green-Crushed Mint Leaves and Rosemary. This is the chocolate that started them all! Mint is the first flavor to dance on your tongue, providing a minty experience like nothing you've ever tasted. The smooth chocolate base rounds out the taste followed by sprigs of fresh rosemary that will delight your palate. Purple-Key Lime and Jamaican Curry. The tang of key lime is needed to carry the curry flavor in this chocolate. Not a spicy curry though... think of it as more of a Caribbean jerk seasoning. Red-Cayenne and Chili Powder. One of the best combinations! Chili powder blended with chocolate is your first flavor in this bite. Just when you think this isn't spicy, the soft, dry heat of cayenne sneaks up on you, blooming in the back of your throat and moving forward. Not for the faint of heart! White-Celtic Smoked Sea Salt and White Ground Pepper. People tell me this piece reminds them of a chocolate covered pretzel. Smoked salt that is hand harvested from the Celtic region of France creates a wonderful combination with the hint of white pepper on the finish.
