(More customer reviews)This licorice has the right chewy semi-hard texture that it should have. A bit more salty-sweet than the "coins" (Klene muntendrop), which I prefer, but these are more readily available and still provide me with my fix. Excellent price.

Our licorice factory dates back to 1876 with a very rich tradition in the production of licorice. It is known for its extensive assortment of licorices, its traditional pieces that have been around for decades. The Royal Rounds were introduced last year and have become a favorite to many. This product is destined to become our best seller. We have added "gum arabic" to the recipe, which makes the licorice a little firmer, but more importantly it possesses the unique ability of bringing out the licorice flavor better.
