(More customer reviews)Pocky is one of those snack foods that make you think you are not really eating anything bad because it is light and crunchy, and you could eat a box of them and feel as though you have eaten nothing. The center is a very mild flavored cracker or cookie that has a mild taste similar to an animal cracker. The cracker is coated at one end with a mild milk chocolate. The end result is a pleasant, mildly sweet taste.
I enjoy Pocky, but they can be a bit of a mess in the hands of a child. My children have eaten them in the back seat of our car and if a Pocky should break the slender stick easily falls into the seat; the soft chocolate will soon color your car seat, and more if the temperature in the car should melt the chocolate. Also, sometimes Pocky will crumble and the crumbs are as bad as crackers.
Chocolate Pocky remains a favorite with our family, though we have tried the strawberry and occasionally buy it for a change. I recommend this treat for people who prefer a subtle cookie flavor and a light snack.

Heat Sensitive - The delicious Pocky toppings (chocolate, strawberry, whip, etc.) were developed to melt in a persons mouth, around 98 degrees and therefore are heat sensitive. If a Pocky topping should melt just place them in an average room temperature and they will cool but stick together. Melting does not affect the edibility of the product.
