I was looking all over for Marron Glaces, but none of the local specialty stores had them so I ordered these. I am pleased to say they were delivered quickly and the jar was vaccuum sealed so they were fresh on arrival, but most of all the person I gave them to really enjoyed them.

Chestnuts are harvested in October and November and for that reason, they are generally regarded as a Christmas treat, however this delicacy can be enjoyed year round. The chestnuts are soaked in water, peeled and wrapped in tulle two by two in order to hold the chestnuts whole and to avoid breakage. The traditional method is to marinate the chestnuts for about seven days in vanilla bean syrup. Finally, the chestnuts are removed from the syrup, drained and individually wrapped for your enjoyment. Our Marrons Glacés are an all-natural product.
