I grew up in a small town in Michigan with heavy Dutch roots, and one of my favorite Christmas traditions was when my Mom brought out the tin of Wilhelmina peppermints in December. These mints are very different to your typical American breath mints - larger size, different texture, and milder taste. Somehow they're pepperminty without being Menthol-y, and they have a slightly sweet aftertaste - with perhaps a hint of vanilla? They're perfect for an after-dinner treat that freshens your breath without burning your tongue or totally shocking your taste buds... Anyway, I hadn't had any in years and was delighted to find them on Amazon. I bought some for my boyfriend to try, and he quickly became addicted to the "Christmas mints" and always keeps a baggie on hand!
