Even though they are unsweetened, carob is naturally sweet, so you get the treat without the sugar. The almonds are always high quality, and tasted like they have been roasted a little prior to being coated with the carob. These aren't vegan, so if you are, sorry, but they are not for you.
Overall, a good candy for those of us who cannot eat chocolate.
