Ghiradelli stopped making them when their packaging machine was broken when then moved from San Francisco to San Leandro (about 15 years ago). Rather than repair or rebuild it they just stopped making them. Despite years of protests from candy lovers. Now a new company is making them.
If you never had them before you may think "so what?" But if you grew up with them and miss them you will be thrilled.
