Saw these going for 5 bucks or more at a couple of stores and was instantly attracted to them. We all like candy, but we know that neither we nor our kids and elders should have too much of it. There's precious little in each of these containers, but no one's going to complain because of the irresistible attraction of the toy. One guitar is a rock model, which plays snatches of 4 different tunes, complete with wah wah effects, screech/cry bend rod, and distort; the other is a C&W model with a hollow body design and sound.
This is what I needed after another day of watching college kids walking this great land of ours with "smart phones" glued to their ears (like carrier pigeons taking orders for their socializing patterns) and after experiencing more crashes, more uninstalls, more lost files. Even an adult doesn't need instructions to make one of these Jammer Guitars work (by contrast, programming a Kurzweil keyboard to my specifications can take countless days). Just pick it up, press one of 4 buttons (or all 4 at once if you enjoy polyphony), and when you tire of that, have some candy!
12 may be more than you need, but buying them individually would cost you upwards of sixty bucks. Moreover, this is a toy that keeps on giving. Give one to your grandkids or nursing home residents one year, and the next, give it to them again. (The first one will be lost or broken, and the candy will be gone, so it will be received like a new toy, the previous one long forgotten.)
Just exercise enough discipline not to eat up the candy and play the life out of the guitars between visits to the rightful benefactors.
