(More customer reviews)I love these for a light taste of chocolate and a nip of sugar without being a heavy calorie-laden treat and eat them often. The outer coating is a nice caramel with a slight taste of toffee, and, once you get down to the center, you hit a gooey chocolate.
It never occurred to me to bite one but my friend's child had to have dental work redone because, apparently, this is somewhere in between caramel and a hard candy...in that, if you bite down on it, it will grip your teeth and pull out dental work according to the dentist when you then open your teeth...so...if you think about it for kids with dental work you might think twice.
Great to keep in your purse for a quick sugar fix, doesn't melt, tastes great.
